Omar Cabera was driving on South Blackhawk Street around 8:30 p.m. when a driver that authorities believe was intoxicated ran through a red light and slammed into his Subaru. Cabera suffered severe injuries and was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the other vehicle sustained only minor injuries.
