2 people pulled from water after small plane crashes into Culver Reservoir

The plane crashed into Culver Reservoir southwest of Berthoud and north of Longmont about 7:40 a.m.

2 Dead After Small Plane Crashes Into Reservoir

Berthoud Fire dive teams, assisted by Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, pulled two adult males from the plane. They were rushed to the hospital where they were declared deceased.

Victims in deadly Larimer County plane crash identified

Patrick Blankemeier, 58 of Arvada, and James Griffith, 23 of Denver, died after being pulled from the plane after it crashed into Culver Reservoir southwest of Berthoud, near Larimer County Roads 2 and 23, about 7:45 a.m.
