He has been identified as Johnnie Duran, 18, and is the nephew of the pedestrian who was killed in the incident, according to a tweet sent by Denver police.

Denver Police believe there is a family relationship between the pedestrian who died in Thursday night's hit and run and the driver.
The driver has not been found but police believe they have located the white Chevrolet pickup involved near 47th Avenue and Race Street.
The victim has been identified as Denver resident, Eugene Guerra, 59.
Sgt. Mike Farr said the collision at 48th Avenue and Clarkson Street may have been an accident and that the driver may not have realized he hit a person.
