12-year-old injured in auto-pedestrian crash

A bus carrying Grant Beacon students was held at the scene of the crash until investigators could speak with the students onboard. Counselors and other school staff members were at the scene as well. 
A 12-year-old Denver boy is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car on South Zuni Street and West Mosier Place Wednesday morning. The accident occured around 7:00 a.m. on October 22 when the boy, who was near a school bus stop, was playing football with friends and ran into the street. The driver stayed at the scene and was also taken to the hospital. Police are investigating if the driver had a medical condition.
