1 dead, others injured in hit-and-run crash in Denver

The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene of the crash. DPD has not announced any arrests or released any suspect information pertaining to the investigation.

Lindsey, who called himself the president of the DragKings Colorado car club, is well known among the street car scene as someone who would use social media to organize large, impromptu gatherings in parking lots at night.

About an hour after the fatal crash a family member of Taylor Lindsey reported that the car involved in the crash was stolen, prosecutors said.

Nearly a week ago, Bartsch and Alex Kasper were with Taylor Lindsey, a 23-year-old man who is accused of fleeing the scene of a fatal hit-and-run crash at 40th and Peña. A third passenger, who is unnamed in police reports, was also in Lindsey’s car and injured.
