An officer heard the crash as he was patrolling the area about 5:00 p.m. A juvenile female attempted to flee the scene on foot, but the officer was able to take her into custody. The SUV had crashed completely through a mobile home.

Lt. Jeff Turner, Aurora police spokesman reported that "none of those people in the Tahoe were wearing their seat belts." The Tahoe's driver was ejected from the SUV as it rolled onto its roof.
