A female driver was killed in an accident in Bloomfield Thursday afternoon.

Woman dies after two-car crash in Bloomfield
The North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad was called out to the scene and is conducting the investigation.
An unidentified female driver was driving on East Newberry Road, and turned from it onto Old Windsor Road. She did not properly yield to cross traffic, and was struck by an eastbound car on Old Windsor Road before her car rotated and crashed into a nearby building. The woman was declared dead at the scene, but the man driving the other vehicle was uninjured. We will update this accident with more details as they become available.
