1 dead, 2 injured after 3 motorcycles crash on highway

Police say a Massachusetts man was killed and two others were seriously injured after three motorcycles crashed on a Connecticut highway.
Kenneth Oliva, of Norwood, Massachusetts, died when his motorcycle crashed with another bike on Route 44 in Eastford on Sunday. Oliva was heading west toward a curve when he collided with 26-year-old Nicholas Romitti, of Vernon. Both were thrown from their motorcycles. 66-year-old Philip McManus, also of Norwood, was also traveling west, and became involved in the accident and was ejected from his motorcycle. Oliva was transported to Hartford Hospital where he died. McManus and Romitti were transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center.
