Motorcyclist Killed in Meriden Crash

Berube was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the southbound direction on Cook Avenue at 6:37 p.m. Saturday when she lost control of the vehicle, police said. Police ask anyone who witnessed the crash to call the Meriden Police Accident Reconstruction Unit at 203-630-6201.

The woman was riding alone on a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle when the bike went off the travel lane as she was headed southbound on Cook Avenue at New Hanover Avenue at about 6:37 p.m.
Davaina Berube, 47, was killed in a crash on Cook Avenue in Meriden on Saturday night. She veered off the right side of the road beyond the New Hanover Avenue intersection and flipped over in an abandoned gas station parking lot. She died at the hospital due to her injuries from the crash, police said.
