A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash in Meriden and police are looking for the driver who left the scene.

Anthony Wilson, 41, address unknown, collided with the car near 46 North Ave. at about 9:20 p.m., according to a report from the fire department. After the initial collision, Wilson’s motorcycle struck two parked cars. He was found on the ground with serious head injuries, a punctured lung and possible broken ribs, the report stated. He was taken to Hartford Hospital by a Life Star helicopter.
Anthony Wilson was riding a motorcycle on North Avenue when another vehicle pulled out onto the street in front of him. Wilson's motorcycle hit the side of the car and lost control, going on to hit two parked vehicles. The driver of the other vehicle left the scene. Wilson was found with serious head, neck, chest and leg injuries and was taken by medical helicopterto Hartford Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. Police believe the other vehicle was a dark colored Mazda 3, and that it might be missing a taillight and have a broken rear window or broken driver’s side window.
