Pedestrian Killed in Preston

A pedestrian was struck and killed on Route 2 in Preston early Friday morning. Hubbard was pronounced dead at the scene. James Hubbard, 49, of Norwich was struck in the area of Maynard Hill Road. Police are asking any witnesses to call Trooper Gardner at Troop E in Montville at 860-658-6500 According to state police, shortly after 1:20 a.m.
