Fatal accident Saturday morning in Oxford
Resident State Trooper Dan Semosky said the crash occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on Maple Tree Hill Road, near the Southbury border, and involved only one vehicle. The vehicle was on fire and on its side when rescue workers arrived, according to the Oxford Fire Department, which posted news of the accident on its Facebook page.
The victim was trapped inside the vehicle, the fire department said.
