Police ID 2 People Killed in Head-On Crash in Stonington(link is external)

Police said 38-year-old Jose Gonzalez, of Groton, was driving north on I-95 southbound in Stonington around 12:45 a.m. As he was traveling in the wrong direction, police said he collided with another vehicle, just north of exit 91.

Noriega-Gonzalez was charged Tuesday with two counts of manslaughter with a vehicle, two counts of assault, reckless endangerment, operating under the influence of alcohol and driving the wrong way on a divided highway.
