Man killed in car accident when car crosses yellow line, hits dump truck.

Police are investigating the fatal crash that closed Route 5 in East Windsor for hours Tuesday afternoon. Police said a man in his 40s was killed when his car crossed the yellow line and hit a dump truck head on. The car went airborne and then hit a utility pole, according to police. The crash happened around 2 p.m. Both sides of the road are shut down near East Windsor High School. Police said the victim was the only person in the car. He has not been identified, but police said he was an Enfield resident. Authorities are investigating.
