Police ID man killed in Hockessin hit-and-run crash

McCarthy was attempting to cross Lancaster Pike (Del. 41) when he was hit by an unknown vehicle traveling northbound, Hale said. He was hit and thrown onto the right-hand shoulder of Del. 41 just north of Ace Memorial Drive where he was found by first responders, Hale said.
