Delaware State Police are investigating a motorcycle accident in Newark that critically injured one person Saturday night.

Police say a motorcycle collided with an SUV on Augusta Drive and East Chestnut Hill Road around 10:00 p.m.

The injured cyclist was taken to Christiana Hospital with critical injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
