One-year-old pedestrian was struck and critically injured by a vehicle on Canoe Club Road in Newark, Delaware

Officials said on Thursday at approximately 4:30 p.m., police responded to the 500 block of Canoe Club Road in Newark for the report of a motor vehicle crash.  Officers learned the 55-year-old operator of a 2004 silver Ford Ranger was traveling on Canoe Club Road when he struck the toddler.
