Crash involving stolen car kills driver Rajahn Cooper, 24, near Justis and Augustine streets in Newport, Delaware

More officers were called in to assist in finding the stolen vehicle.  Officers then found the car at about 2:25 a.m. It had hit a tree in the grassy median in the area of Justis and Augustine streets in Newport, Duffy said.

Investigators say the vehicle struck a curb while traveling at a high rate of speed, hit a tree and then traveled another 50 feet before colliding with another tree, Duffy said.
