Driver faces second-degree murder charge in fatal crash

Police spokesman Paul Metcalf said he could not say why Bello was charged with murder. 
At around 3:13 a.m. Sunday, Momodu I. Bello of Fort Washington was driving a red 2015 Volkswagen Passat very fast in the 3400 block of Eastern Avenue NE when he smashed into a parked tractor-trailer. His passenger, Nancy Tinoza, 26, of Arlington, was transported to a hospital, where she died. Bello and another passenger were treated and released for minor injuries, and Bello was then arrested. He has been charged with second degree murder.
