Trinity Handy, 3, killed, and Monique Harris and Taqueria Handy, 4, injured in multi-car wreck on SR 82 in Lehigh Acres, Florida

A 3-year-old was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Monday evening on State Road 82 near Gunnery Road, while two others, including a 4-year-old, remain the hospital. Officials say alcohol was not a factor in this crash, but the investigation remains open and charges are pending. The Lee County Sheriff'€™s Office says Trinity Handy, 3, was killed when the driver of a Ford F-250 failed to stop for slowing traffic while driving eastbound on SR 82 and hit the rear of a Toyota driven by Monique Harris of Tampa.
