According to troopers, the motorcycle was traveling east on Lee Blvd. at a high speed when a school bus was turning left onto Bruce Ave. N. The motorcycle hit the right side of the bus, and the motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash occurred on Lee Blvd and Bruce Avenue. The school bus, which was transporting 23 students, reported no injuries.
