Elderly Naples man dies in head-on crash, teen injured

The man has not been identified pending notification of next of kin. The driver of the oncoming vehicle, 19-year-old Jesus Mora, was taken to North Collier Hospital in serious condition.

FHP identifies victim of fatal Collier County crash

The Florida Highway Patrol identified a Naples man, 82-year-old Jorge Rodriguez, as the deceased victim of a fatal two-car accident Sunday evening in Collier County. An FHP report said the 2000 Buick LeSabre that Rodriguez was operating was traveling east on Golden Gate Boulevard after 6 p.m., when it crossed the center line and attempted to pass an uninvolved vehicle.
