Victim in fatal Merritt Island hit-and-run crash identified
"In this case had the driver stayed at the scene, they may not have been charged for the crash," said Kim Montes, spokeswoman for the Florida Highway Patrol. "Now we're looking for a pickup truck based on a part that was left at the scene, it probably has front in damage,"
Montes urged residents to alert authorities if they see the truck, which has been identified as a 1995 - 2003 Chevrolet S-10.
