Christina Wysong, 58, killed after her minivan crashes into rear of disabled tractor-trailer on I-95 southbound in Brevard County.

A 58-year-old Rockledge woman was killed Monday morning in a crash involving a minivan and a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Christina Wysong, 58, died in the crash, which happened around 10:35 a.m. on I-95 southbound near Palm Bay.

According to the FHP, the minivan crashed into the back of the semitrailer, which was disabled and parked on the shoulder of the interstate. It's not known why Wysong veered off the highway.

Wysong was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the big rig, a 26-year-old Rockledge man, was not injured.

Two lanes were blocked in the area directly after the crash, slowing traffic.
