Motorcyclist Dead In Crash Near Dunlawton Avenue Bridge
Assistant Chief of Police Wayne Miller told the media that the accident scene itself is just west of the Peninsula Drive and Dunlawton intersection.

A fatal motorcycle crash occured Monday afternoon on the east side of the Port Orange bridge, just west of the intersection of Peninsula Drive and Dunlawton Avenue. Shayne Laidler was pronounced dead on the scene. High speed appears to have been a factor in the crash.
