Man injured, child in critical condition after being struck by vehicle
According to PCPD, Yarrell was carrying the child across 15th Street at its intersection with Carver Drive through stopped traffic. There is not a crosswalk or light at the intersection. At one point, he stepped into the path of an oncoming truck, officers reported.
