Investigators discovered that a black Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling north on Meridian Road when it veered off the right side of the road as it approached a left curve. The driver then overcorrected causing the SUV to spin out and crash into several trees, said Lt. Grady Jordan, spokesman for the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities identify man killed in crash on N. Meridian Road
27-year-old Willaim Saldivar was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
29-year-old Francisco Gonzales was a passenger in Saldivar's vehicle and was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hosptal with non-life threatening injuries.
