Head-on crash in Gadsden County leaves five seriously injured
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened on US 27, just north of Schwall Road.
Troopers say a Toyota pickup was driving the wrong way down the southbound lane, colliding with a Chevy pickup truck, coming over a hill. The driver of the truck was unable to avoid the collision, and the two vehicles hit each other head-on.
The wrong way driver, 24-year-old Caleb Lockard of Tallahassee, was air lifted to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. FHP believes he may have been driving drunk.
