Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol say 38-year-old Nicole Aimee Bartell was driving with a 13-year-old passenger when she veered off the road. She over corrected, colliding with a utility pole and a tree.

Both were taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. The crash occurred on Country Road 270A, just northeast of Quincy.
