Tallahassee Police say that Parker was killed in that second crash. They say that details are under investigation.

"He was well known in the community. He had done drive ways for people. If you asked him for the shirt off of his back he would give it to you. It's not many words that you can put to a guy like that because he was just like an angel," Lewis said.

Parker was a custodian at Chaires Elementary. Leon County Schools issued a statement saying "our hearts our broken and we are praying for his family."

Rodgeous D. Parker was driving his car when he struck another vehicle at the intersection of North Monroe Street and Allen Road, then fled the scene at high speed. The driver he hit was treated and released at an area hospital. As Parker was fleeing the scene, he lost control of his vehicle and died in a crash involving only his car. The accident is still under investigation.
