Young area woman dies in crash

Charnell Monese Williams, 22, was southbound on Lincoln Drive in Chattahoochee around 6:30 a.m. when she traveled across the northbound lane and onto the eastern shoulder of the road. The front of the Chevrolet Malibu she was driving collided with a tree. The car came to rest on the shoulder of the road facing east, a ccording to Florida Highway Patrol reports.

Williams was traveling South on County Road 269A, Lincoln Drive, when the car veered into a northbound lane, ending up on the East side of the road.
