FHP says Pedestrian Killed in Sunday Evening Hit and Run

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Troopers say a local man is dead following a hit and run pedestrian-involved accident west of Tallahassee Sunday evening. Troopers say Hurley ended up in a grassy ditch on the north shoulder of the road. FHP says 39-year-old Michiel Wayne Rouse of Tallahassee fled the scene traveling westbound in the 1996 Dodge Ram before troopers arrived at the scene. Sunday when Hurley was hit and killed by a passing pickup truck. The Florida Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Johnathon Wayne Hurley of Tallahassee and another pedestrian were walking alongside the shoulder of US 90 west of Nashville Drive around 7 p.m.
