Three dead after car crashes into Lake Talquin
It happened shortly before 2 a.m. The car was seen going down Coe Landing Road at a high rate of speed and into the lake.
At least two people were fishing from the dock at the time and tried to rescue the victims.

“It does appear they were unfamiliar with the area and just did not realize that the road terminated into a boat landing,” said Sheriff Mike Wood. “Initially, we were hoping for a search and rescue, but ultimately with enough time passing that turned into a recovery.”
