It happened around 11:30 a.m. on Oak Ridge Road. According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old driving an SUV was crossing the bike path that intersects with Oak Ridge Road at the same time 63-year-old Marlene Larmore was coming up to the intersection on her bike.
Troopers say Larmore failed to stop at the stop sign, hitting the front passenger side of the SUV. Larmore was thrown from the bicycle, landing in the road.
