Shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday, a 2000 Toyota Camry driven by Ashleigh Danielle Bond, 21, of Parrish, left Cortez Road, also known as State Road 684, as the vehicle approached the 44th Avenue Connection.

After accidentally departing the roadway, Bond overcorrected, which caused her car to spin and strike a utility pole. Bond was declared dead at the scene.
