Troopers said Ronnie Easton of Gibsonton collided with a pickup in front of him when he was unable to stop his GMC Sierra. The Ford F-350 in front of him, driven by 29-year-old Travis Boggs of Summerville, Ga., had stopped because of a separate traffic crash on the interstate, just north of State Road 52.
When he was unable to stop, Easton was hit from behind by another car driven by 50-year-old David Carpenter of Leesburg, troopers said.
