According to investigators, 29-year-old Reginald Burnett Jr. of Avon Park was heading south on U.S. 27 when he apparently lost control of the car. First responders found two passengers -- 38-year-old Doyle Lane Jr. of Frostproof and 28-year-old Ryan Lamar Dawson of Eustic -- dead at the scene.
Deputies say Burnett and 33-year-old passenger Micah Lamar Watson of Frostproof were airlifted to Lakeland Regional Health Center. Watson died there a short time later.
