A pedestrian was killed Thursday morning in a Citrus County crash.
One person was killed in a crash that happened just after 7 a.m. on northbound U.S. Highway 19 at Grover Cleveland Boulevard on Thursday morning. Troopers said that while trying to cross U.S. 19, 86-year-old Roy Daubenspeck of Homosassa was killed when he was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Christopher Walter Benton, 54. Benton was not injured.
