Victims Identified in Largo Pedestrian Crash
Connie Lynn Carreira, 55, of Clearwater and Robert Wayne Edmonds, 50, of Pinellas Park both died when they were struck by a 1999 Isuzu SUV driven by Lonnie Ray Baumbach, 65, of Largo.
Two pedestrians were struck and killed waliking across 66th Street North at 126th Ave. North, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The victims, described as a man and woman, were walking east across 66th Street when they were struck. The unidentified driver of a white SUV of unknown make and model had the green traffic signal when the accident occurred. The accident remains under investigation. Traffic was detoured away from the accident.
