Man, 18, struck, killed running across Ulmerton Rd. in Largo(link is external)

An 18-year-old man died Monday night after he was struck by a vehicle and killed while trying to run across Ulmerton Road on Monday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said. 
Jauntavis Westley, 18, was attempting to cross Ulmerton Road at a traffic signal at 121st Street N. when he was struck by a 2014 Hyundai Elantra driven by Donal Kenan, 44, of Largo. Dim lighting contributed to the crash. Westley was transported to Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, where he later died of his injuries.
