Officials say southbound 66th Street is shut down as well as westbound 126th Avenue.

According to a Pinellas Park Police Department report the driver of the mini-van stopped immediately.

Two women who police say were drunk while crossing a Pinellas Park street, were struck by a van Saturday night.

Dawn Marie Fattarusso, 40, of Clearwater was killed, and Rosemary Stone, 55, of Pinellas Park was injured, in an accident in Pinellas Park at 66th Street North and 126th Avenue North in Pinellas Park, FL.  The women were running across 66th Street when they were struck by a van driven by Tereza Allen, 58, of Largo.  Allen was not injured and there were no passengers .  Fattarusso and Stone were intoxicated at the time of the crash.  Stone is still at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

True but that was my baby and how does driver not see themcross first five lanes? Its well lit and they were almost across street. I dont drink but careless driving kills also

What investigation? They were drunk so noone cared that they crossed five lanes on a well lit street and almost made it. Where was driver looking? Cell phone?
