Around 2:23 a.m., Robert H. Alexander Jr., 44, was driving southbound on Mango Road approaching Sligh Avenue when he made an unexpected left turn into the oncoming path of a white work van driven by Jorge Rios-Luis, 18, of Seffner. Alexander was not wearing his seatbelt and received serious injuries to his head. he was taken to Brandon Hospital where he died of his injuries.
