The car came to rest behind a bait shop on Evanston Street where Strickland is accused of removing the victim's remains from it before calling friends and a roommate to help him push the now-disabled vehicle back to his residence, investigators said.

A release from FHP says he then drove the body of the pedestrian to the back of the Dixie Lee Bait shop, located at 6408 Evanston Street in Spring Hill, and dumped the remains.

Strickland also has multiple warrants out of Minnesota, including an active warrant out of Goodhue County for two felony counts of animal torture.
