It came to rest at the entrance to Jasmine Plaza, 7031 Hillsborough Ave., troopers said.
A Tampa man was killed Saturday evening in a scooter crash on Hillsborough Avenue. Daniel Paul Miller, 27, was driving a Honda PCX150 on Hillsborough near Harney Road at 8 p.m. when he lost control, swerved right and left the road. The vehicle hit a power pole and then a sign post. Miller was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he later died.
