Ball was driving north at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday on Southwest High Meadows Avenue, near Southwest Golden Bear Way, while Nachtwey was driving south on the same road. The Kia Forte crossed the center divided line and went into the southbound lane, directly into the path of the pickup truck.
