One male pedestrian killed, after he is struck by a vehicle on the Mack Dobbs Road in Kennessaw.

A pedestrian has died after an early morning pedestrian accident in Cobb County. Kennessaw Police say the person was struck at Mack Dobbs Road around 6 a.m. According to police, the victim is a man in his early forties and he was struck while walking in an off-road trail, there isn't a sidewalk in the area. The Cobb County STEP team is investigating this accident. Officials say another pedestrian was killed around the same area, last year. The victim's identity has not been released pending notification of his next-of-kin.
