Two teens are dead after a Saturday night crash involving a Georgia State Patrol squad car in Carrollton, Ga. Kylie Lindsey, 17,  and 16-year old Isabella Chinchilla were sitting in the back seat of a Nissan with two teenage boys in the front. The state trooper involved in this crash was injured, but will be OK. Investigators say preliminary findings show the car failed to yield to the patrol car.

Two Atlanta-area teens were killed Saturday when their car collided with a Georgia State Patrol cruiser. The four were driving through Carroll County around 11:30 p.m. when they pulled onto Highway 27, in front of a state trooper, WSB-TV reported. "It's really hard. It's going to be really hard for everybody. Douglassville'€™s South Paulding High School mourned the deaths of 17-year-old Kylie Lindsey and 16-year-old Isabella Chinchilla Monday as students returned to class following their fall break.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:35 p.m. when the teens' 2005 Nissan made a left turn into the path of the Georgia State Patrol car. Two teenage girls were killed late Saturday night when their vehicle was struck by a Georgia State Patrol trooper in Carroll County. Two of the teens, Isabella Chinchilla,16, and Kylie Lindsey, 17, died from injuries sustained in the crash. Neighbors in the area say the intersection is very dangerous and that cars turning left can't see oncoming traffic.

State Patrol Capt. Authorities say the State Patrol Dodge Charger and a Nissan Sentra carrying the teenagers collided around 11:30 p.m. It really makes me feel sick." The two girls who died, who were passengers in the Nissan, were identified as 17-year-old Kylie Hope Lindsey; and 16-year-old Isabella Alise Chinchilla.

Kylie Lindsey, 17, and Isabella Chinchilla, 16, died when the car they were passengers in slammed into a state trooper patrol car on Georgia Highway 27 near Holly Springs Drive in Carroll County. The driver, 18-year-old Dillon Wall, and another passenger, 17-year-old Benjamin Finken, survived and were taken to a hospital.

Further evidence indicated that at the time of the crash TFC Scott was traveling approximately 66 mph. Based on the information gathered during this investigation, the Georgia Department of Public Safety has terminated the employment of TFC Scott.

Based on the information gathered during the investigation, the Georgia Department of Public Safety terminated the employment of Scott in October of 2015 but a grand jury declined to indict the trooper of charges that included vehicular homicide.
