Pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle on Franklin Gateway in Marietta, Georgia

Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan was heading northbound on Franklin Gateway when a male pedestrian was walking southbound along the same roadway. In circumstances yet to be determined, the pedestrian stepped into the path of the oncoming Dodge Grand Caravan and was struck.
