UPDATE: Mike Padgett Highway crash victim pronounced dead
58-year-old Harry Eugene Carver Sr. of Hephzibah was traveling on Mike Padgett Hwy just before 8:27 a.m. when his truck left the roadway, hit a tree and ejected him from the vehicle. Carver was rushed to Augusta University Hospital was he was later pronounced dead at 3:56 a.m.
