Mitchell Lee Miles, 27, killed, after he rear-ended a vehicle on I-185 in Muscogee County, and then crashed into a guard rail and was ejected from his pickup in Columbus, Georgia

One man is dead after police say he was ejected from his pickup truck during a crash on I-185 Saturday afternoon. The two-vehicle crash occurred in the Northbound lanes just North of the St. Mary's Road exit when the driver of the truck rear-ended another vehicle. Officials say 27-year-old Mitchell Lee Miles lost control of the vehicle and hit the guard rail before he was ejected and died. Traffic was redirected from the St. Mary's Northbound entrance to I-185 as officials closed the lanes to investigate the scene. No one from the other vehicle was injured.
